Brake upgrade

When I started to drive the bike and pushing her a bit harder I realized that the front brakes were not up to standard. It was not a lot of bite and one of the discs were warped. I was trying to get some new ones but the original ones were very expensive so I was looking for some upgrades. After consulting some "Bevel Drivers" in the Swedish Ducati Club I decided to go for ISR discs. For almost the same prize as original discs Acke at ISR Racing made me this very sexy Custom made fully floating 280mm discs.

Normally it is only 1 mm clearance between the disc and the fork leg on a MHR. That means that  I found the hard way  it was not space enough for the floaters. Bummer

One hour later the clearance  was sorted. I just love files. You can do miracles with a good one. Now it just needs some paint

I installed the discs together  with EBC HH pads. The brakes are now Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh so good. The bad things are that now the fork and the tyre are not up to the same standard. To sort the forks I tried higher viscosity and higher oil level. The fork is better but far from good. Now I will install  this springs from Bevel heaven. We will see if it will help
